Presenter:
Clinical Device Group is proud to present Michelle Secic. Michelle received her Master of Science degree in Applied Statistics in 1990 from Bowling Green State University. She is president of Secic Statistical Consulting, Inc., which provides statistical support to a variety of medical research projects around the world. Projects ranging from analyzing small data sets to large clinical trials involving drugs or medical devices. She authored the book, “How To Report Statistics in Medicine”, which was published in its 2nd edition in 2006. A biostatistician at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation from 1990 through 2001, she served as Associate Team Leader for a group of Biostatisticians and later as Manager of the Research Section of the Transplant Center. In 2001 she left the Clinic to expand her consulting company. In addition to statistical consulting, she is a member of the American Statistical Association, provides formal statistical reviews for medical journals, and is the Advisory Board Statistician for the Clinical Device Group’s Discussion Forum.
